Guest Services Specialist

Join our front-line team supporting vacation rental guests

Job summary

Alabama Getaway is adding another Guest Services Specialist to our front-line team. This person will work with the Guest Services team to assist guests before, during, and after their stays. The right candidate is welcoming, dependable, comfortable with technology, and able to remain calm while helping guests find solutions.

Essential duties

• Provide friendly, professional guest support throughout the reservation and stay.
• Check guests in and out and share helpful resort, property, and local information.
• Assist guests with concerns and work toward timely, practical resolution.
• Answer calls and assist guests with reservation inquiries, questions, and basic changes.
• Document guest communication and coordinate with the appropriate department when follow-up is needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Above-average computer skills  and the ability to learn property-specific systems.
• Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent guest-service and problem-resolution skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Prior front-desk experience is a plus.

Schedule and compensation

Schedule: Year-round office-based position. Weekend, evening, and holiday availability may be required based on team coverage. Part-time and Full-Time positions available. 

Compensation: $18/hr with opportunity to increase within 6 months - work from home positions possible - overtime allowed
